This quick and easy to implement mini-project comes with two black-line background templates for your students to use as they briefly research and design a costume for their paper doll version of themselves. Challenge your creative learners by encouraging them to use puns or idioms to create their costumes or take this lesson even further by expanding the lesson to include a life size version of their project and dress up for the class!

Designed to be used during 1-2 class periods, students can quickly review a science concept they have studied previously to create a fun, accurate and appropriately designed Halloween costume for their paper doll which can be cut-out and added to the background and used decorate your classroom for the the spooky holiday season. This lesson is a fun activity to keep kids engaged during one of the most chaotic holidays of the year while still keeping their candy-zombie brains on science.
