What's not to love about this fully editable project that can be used in any subject area? It's an end of year lesson that will have your students gearing up for an unforgettable day in the classroom! If you're interested in getting your students prepared for moving on to the next grade and learning new material, then this project is for you. Students will be responsible for working as a group to teach their peers about a topic they will cover NEXT year in class. They're going to become Student Teachers!

This project includes directions to help students create a lesson from start to finish so their lesson will include: objective, opener, notes, activity, assessment, and closure. It also includes a student friendly lesson plan template, example lesson plan, group member assignment log to show student involvement throughout the process, and scoring rubric.

To prepare, students need approximately NINE days in class to finish their lesson plan and practice. Then, students will teach a class on the days you assign. This is a student run and student taught lesson that everyone will enjoy at the end of the year!
